Despite significant strides in diversity and inclusion, Black professionals are still very much underrepresented in leadership roles across industries. Recent statistics highlight this disparity:

In the UK, Black professionals hold approximately 1.5% of executive or senior-level roles. Only 3.2% of executive or senior-level roles in the U.S. are held by Black professionals. Black women in the U.S also hold just 1.6% of vice president roles and 1.4% of C-suite positions. This figure highlights the significant underrepresentation of Black individuals in these positions. These reports are verified by HRreview, BMJ Leader, and VERCIDA.

There is an urgent need to elevate Black and ethnic heritage excellence in leadership. We want to witness Black professionals arm themselves with adequate knowledge and industry exposure so that they stand fitted for high executive roles. This is why this years conference seeks to address existing disparities head-on by providing a robust platform to celebrate and amplify the contributions of Black or ethnic heritage HR / EDI professionals at the workplace

We will spotlight the essential role HR / EDI plays in nurturing and advancing Black leadership, offering actionable insights and strategies for professionals commitments to driving systemic change within their organisations.

Day 1: is the empowerment masterclass where attendees will get all the necessary information and skill set they need to progress in their career tailored for Advisors to Directors. This event is online only.
